Community Service

Members of the Fort Worth Paralegal Association are active volunteers for a number of civic, charitable and community events such as the Tarrant County Food Bank, Main Street Arts Festival, Susan G. Komen Foundation, Make a Wish Foundation, Mission Metroplex, Salvation Army, Goodfellows, Love and Light Ministries and Saving Hope Animal Rescue.  Each year, the Community Service Committee bestows the honor of FWPA Volunteer of the Year Award to a deserving Member who is recognized at the Annual Holiday Luncheon in December. Outstanding Committee Chair Award

  The Oustanding Committee Chair Service Award is given to recognize a FWPA member who has shown exceptional commitment to the FWPA and his/her committee.

     In 2022, this inaugural award was presented to Megan Goor-Peters, TBLS-BCP, for her dedication to the many FWPA hats she wore and for the launching and development of the FWPA website.
